Wudaokou restaurants win awards

The Beijinger magazine, one of two major English language publications that cover events and nightlife for expatriates, this week announced its 2009 Reader Restaurant Awards. Among the big winners are a couple of Wudaokou establishments: the Kro's Nest, which won Outstanding Pizza, and Grandma's Kitchen, which won Best Family-Friendly Restaurant and Outstanding Burger. Voting was conducted online and open to all readers for about a month, and the awards, which encompass all restaurants and dining options throughout the city, are well regarded.
