World Chocolate Wonderland debuts

To help draw attention to its official opening on the 29th of this month, the World Chocolate Wonderland in Beijing is showcasing a 33-foot-long model of the Great Wall made entirely of chocolate and other chocolate-based displays, NPR's Morning Edition reports. Composed of dark chocolate bricks with white chocolate mortar, the wall also features 560 tiny chocolate replicas of the Terra-Cotta Warriors and the largest "chocolate waterfall" in China. The waterfall -- which amounts to 1.5 tons of liquid chocolate -- is displayed in a glass house and is designed to give visitors a glimpse of its preparation and production. Other exhibits at the World Chocolate Wonderland include all-chocolate depictions of the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang and scenes from the Chinese Qingming Festival -- in addition to China's biggest lollipop and other "candy woods."
