Swine flu update

A World Health Organization (WTO) official recently commended China's battle against the worldwide influenza scare, saying the country "has handled the situation...quite well," China Daily reports. The comments, made by a communications officer with the WHO China, cites China's experience with SARS several years ago as preparation for such a public health challenge. Specific information on quarantined travelers, however, has not been released, other than announcements that they show no symptoms of the flu.
