Michael Jackson fans in Beijing are reacting to the pop star's death in unison with their counterparts worldwide. Students in Beijing expressed disbelief and sadness at the news, like 22-year-old Huang Shan, who said, "If anyone organizes a memorial service in China I will do my best to attend. I admired him so much," according to China.org.cn. Such comments have been featured in the New York Times' coverage of worldwide reaction to the singer's passing. Meanwhile, clubs and other party spots in Beijing are planning "Michael Jackson Tribute Nights," which will feature Jackson's music and include "MJ dance-off competitions, look-alike contests, costumes, and more."
