Bookworm International Literary Festival

Having opened this past Friday and continuing until March 20, the Bookworm International Literary Festival 2009 will bring to Beijing 50 writers in 46 events. Writers include "novelists, historians, poets, translators, screenwriters, journalists, essayists, and thinkers...from countries as far-flung as Norway, Israel, Australia and Lebanon," according to the Bookworm, which is a local institution to this city's writers and avid readers.
